Responsibilities
- Developing and executing detailed test plans for Protection & Control (P&C) systems to validate their performance, safety, and reliability against specified requirements.
- Implementing and managing testing procedures, tools, and methodologies to ensure thorough evaluation of P&C systems in various scenarios and conditions.
- Collaborating with design engineers, developers, and product managers to understand system functionalities and derive accurate and meaningful test criteria.
- Analyzing test data to identify deviations, anomalies, or issues in P&C system performance, providing detailed reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Recommending modifications, enhancements, and updates to P&C systems based on test results and performance analysis.
- Ensuring that testing activities are in compliance with relevant regulatory standards, industry practices, and organizational quality assurance protocols.
- Creating comprehensive documentation of test protocols, results, analyses, and recommendations to facilitate transparent communication and future reference.
- Participating in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve issues uncovered during testing.
- Collaborating with technical teams to facilitate solutions, maintaining and calibrating testing equipment and apparatus to ensure accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
- Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the refinement of testing methodologies, and staying updated with technological advancements and industry trends related to P&C systems and testing.
Requirements
- 0-5 years of related experience.
- Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.
About the role
This position is a training arm of the P&C Field Service organization. Successful candidate will work minimum one year in Panel Quality Assurance learning the Protection and Control systems, learning about the departments that work with PQA and get to know about future prospect of working in the Transmission Maintenance organization part of the P&C FS team that commission, maintain, and first respond to troubles in substations with client.
