Entry-level Software Tester - $15/hr - Clemson

About the role

This is an entry-level software tester position available in Clemson, SC. The role is a contractor position with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans and scripts. - Identify and document defects in software applications. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality assurance standards are met. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing processes.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 1+ years of experience in software testing. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools. - Proficiency in at least one programming language. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, etc. - Experience with bug tracking systems like JIRA. - Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
