Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile and quickly and accurately take their order and payment.
- Take phone orders or cater orders to assist with special events.
- Call out completed orders to guests with a rhyme.
- Cook food to our high-quality standards and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
- Prepare food to order, including Italian Beef, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries, and salads.
- Follow provided recipes and uphold Portillo’s standards.
- Maintain proper sanitation practices.
Requirements
Must have worked at Portillo’s for 1 year with an average of at least 20 hours over a 6-month period. Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Hot dog! The pay rate for this role is $15 per hour. This position is also served with: An additional $2/hour for all hours worked after 11pm, $2/hour when working outside in temperatures below 33 degrees Fahrenheit, and $3/hour to work on holidays.
Skills
None specifically listed, but strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes are essential.
