Position Responsibilities
- Supports software development on Agile teams which are tasked with integrating/implementing solutions onto a platform
- Uses analytical problem-solving skills to assist in the resolution of complex problems
- Uses engineering skills to deliver improved weapon system capabilities to our customers
- Applies engineering knowledge to continuously improve processes and tools
- Applies knowledge of engineering principles to conduct various analyses
- Gathers information to design, develop, analyze, and maintain software systems that meet industry, customer and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards
- PARTNERS WITH APPROPRIATE STAKEHOLDERS TO COMMUNICATE SYSTEM DEFINITION AND PARTICIPATES IN TRANSLATION OF SYSTEM-LEVEL REQUIREMENTS INTO SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS THAT MEET CUSTOMER, OPERATIONAL, AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS AND HAVE CLEAR TRACEABILITY TO DESIGN, CODE, AND TEST ARTIFACTS
- ASSISTS IN COMPLETION OF SOFTWARE SYSTEM-LEVEL ANALYSES TO IDENTIFY RISK, ISSUES, AND OPPORTUNITIES; SUPPORTS INTEGRATION AND DEPLOYMENT OF MITIGATION ACTIONS THROUGHOUT THE SOFTWARE LIFECYCLE
- PARTICIPATES IN CODE REVIEWS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT TO REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS
- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start)
- Bachelor's Degree
- This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK. Candidates must be able to relocate if not already living in the local area.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the year
- Ability to troubleshoot, perform data analysis, and follow implementation instructions
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 0 years of related work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of directly related work experience
- 8+ years of related, relevant experience
- Experience in handling documentation products for the use of developers and stakeholders, specifically regarding software requirements
- Experience working effectively in a team environment and communicating with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
- Experience with software design and development tools such as DOORS and logic diagrams
- Technical writing experience
