Entry Level Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications related to avionics and aircraft systems.
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and software certification.
- Design, develop, code, and document applications following specifications using appropriate tools.
- Perform non-routine tasks requiring judgment and initiative under regular direction and guidance.
- Make minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of approaches and routines.
- Propose solutions to problems for others to review.
- Communicate with team members to provide or obtain information requiring explanation or interpretation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, or related area with emphasis on flight dynamics and control.
- Basic experience in C or C++.
- Experience with system testing concepts, performance issues, and testing optimization.
- Ability to meet schedules, work under pressure, and work well with teams and individuals at all levels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minor/Major in Computer Science in conjunction with an Aerospace degree is a plus.
- Python programming is a plus.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
- Motivated to build on technical skills and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and communication abilities.

- Primarily communicates with own team and works in an environment that values effective problem-solving and technical proficiency.

- This is a Permanent position based out of Burnsville, MN.
Pay And Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
