Entry-Level Safety Specialist
Position Responsibilities
Support and Shape: Help plan, roll out, and evaluate our next-generation Occupational Health and Safety programs
Create and Innovate: Draft clear, modern health and safety guides that reduce risk and keep us ahead of compliance
Investigate and Solve: Dive into safety incidents and customer complaints to figure out what happened and how to fix it
Audit and Assess: Conduct routine walk-throughs and audits of our health and safety protocols to ensure everything is running smoothly
What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related science field
Eye for Detail: Hands-on experience or coursework in spotting workplace hazards, running safety inspections, and understanding regulations
Problem-Solving Skills: Participation in accident or near-miss investigations (internship experience counts!) to find root causes and suggest smart solutions
Risk Evaluation: Exposure to performing health and safety risk assessments or participating in audits
Communication Champ: Experience writing clear instructions, documentation, or project improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)
- Experience working with risk management, regulatory and compliance topics
- Experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Graduate Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification
