Entry - Level Parts Sales & Shipping Clerk

Job Summary

Pape’ Material Handling, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Parts Sales Counterperson I to join our team. We offer competitive compensation, exceptional benefits, and a strong work-life balance designed to support you and your family.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain knowledge of products, services, and parts and the associated costs of each.
• Complete all necessary paperwork on each transaction in an accurate and timely manner.
• Respond to customers in person or by telephone whenever required and provide quotes or estimates for parts.
• Process credits, make adjustments, and monitor for restocking charges on all parts sales completed.
• Operate a forklift to handle pallets of product.

What You Need

• A self-motivated, winning attitude, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Prior history with counter sales or parts inventory preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person in an effort to sell company parts and other services.
• Good computer skills and basic familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and various search engines.
• Above-average organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

$17-19/hr (Depending on Experience)
