Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, defects or discrepancies
- Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Ensure proper storage and handling of incoming and outgoing parts
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety in the workplace
- Forklift license preferred, but willing to train
