About the role

The Legal Department is looking for a Specialist to join our team in Troy, MI, to support the Internal Legal Department in managing daily operations and projects.

This role involves assisting and working with the team to monitor automated and manual processes, participate in projects and analysis as needed, and provide performance, initiative, and process results.

Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Read and assess legal documents, validate accuracy, and take requisite action
  • Identify and resolve data or content discrepancies through internal and external resources in a timely manner
  • Retrieve, print, and attach appropriate documents
  • Sort and alphabetize documents
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects and workload

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • English language proficiency
  • 1-2 years of customer service or clerical experience
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Good communication skills and data entry skills

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 2+ years of work experience in a financial services-related field
  • System querying skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel)
