Entry-Level Laboratory Assistant - Part-Time
We are hiring for multiple Entry-Level Laboratory Assistants in the Dayton, Ohio area. Openings are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, with most positions on 2nd or 3rd shift. While primarily part-time, full-time opportunities may be available for 2nd or 3rd shift candidates.
About the role
Ideal candidates will be pursuing or have completed a degree in a scientific field with multiple laboratory courses. We may also consider candidates with a High School Diploma if they have regulated quality and/or laboratory experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform sampling activities in biosafety cabinets and cleanrooms
- Monitor biohazard risks tied to tissue materials and ensure proper decontamination procedures
- Collaborate with microbiology and operations teams to maintain EM program standards
- Support the design and continuous improvement of environmental monitoring processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Associate’s Degree, or current enrollment in a science program with multiple laboratory courses
- OR a High School Diploma with regulated quality and/or laboratory experience (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
Pay
$23.00 - $25.00/hour
