About the role
We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant 2 to perform essential laboratory duties in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Performing waived and moderate complex laboratory tests and reporting results to healthcare providers.
- Conducting venipuncture or capillary puncture on patients of all ages using sterile techniques.
- Properly labeling specimens and ensuring their correct delivery to testing areas.
- Processing samples for analysis and referral to reference laboratories.
- Maintaining organized laboratory reports and files.
- Assisting in the Phlebotomy department and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
- Advanced knowledge of laboratory procedures and systems.
- At least two years of laboratory experience.
Pay
Starting pay between $23‑$24 per hour.
Schedule
Part‑time role with a schedule primarily in the mornings.
