Laboratory Assistant - Part-Time

About the role

The Clinical Lab Assistant supports the Pathology Laboratory by processing and receiving clinical testing materials, managing specimens, and assisting with laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Accession, process, and route specimens
• Transcribe and distribute reports
• Handle specimen packaging and shipping
• Maintain inventory and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Provide administrative support
• Answer inquiries
• Participate in quality control activities

Qualifications

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of technical laboratory or medical experience, or a comparable combination of training and experience.
