Entry Level - Facilities Command Center Technician

About the role

Help maintain business continuity across Epic’s global campuses by monitoring real-time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations from our Facilities Command Center.

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data
• Cook up to restaurant-quality meals at no cost
• Work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment and restore normal operations quickly and effectively
• Live in Madison, WI, a city known for its rising tech talent and accolades for being the greenest, fittest, and best city for young professionals
• Earn a four-week sabbatical anywhere in the world after five years
• Participate in activities like kayaking in Patagonia, attending a Beyoncé concert in Ireland, building a library in Tanzania, and running a marathon in Antarctica

Requirements

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available)
