Entry Level - Facilities Command Center Technician
About the role
Help maintain business continuity across Epic’s global campuses by monitoring real-time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations from our Facilities Command Center. Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data, coordinating emergency responses when disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages occur. Work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment and help restore normal operations quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time alerts and manage access and security systems
- Oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center
- Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data
- Cook up to date, restaurant-quality meals at no cost
- Work in a high-pressure, real-time environment
- Coordinate emergency responses during disruptions like natural disasters or power outages
- Work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment
- Restore normal operations quickly and effectively
Requirements
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field
- Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available)

Pay
Compensation is competitive and reflects the impact your work has on the company and our customers. Annual raises and bonuses are also available.
Schedule
Open to working in a high-pressure, real-time environment, including 2nd and 3rd shifts, as well as weekends.
