Entry Level Automotive Technician - Rome, NY
About the Role
As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands‑on experience performing basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filter replacements, and more. You will train with mid‑ and senior‑level technicians to learn additional services, demonstrate excellent guest service, promote teamwork, adhere to company vehicle‑care policies, and perform manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting. Responsibilities
- Perform basic automotive services (mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filter replacements)
- Conduct additional automotive preventative maintenance
- Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
- Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
- Perform manual tasks including light and heavy lifting of tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or previous formal automotive training

- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions

The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $24.00 per hour; base pay may vary based on
