Entry Level Automotive Technician - Rochester, NY

About the role

The Entry Level Automotive Technician position offers hands-on experience in Goodyear’s Auto Service centers. You will learn how to perform basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, performing oil changes, and conducting additional preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in basic automotive services
• Learn how to mount and balance tires

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions
• Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or previous formal automotive training

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr, with the actual pay varying based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

Schedule

Depending on location, stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.
