Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of technical expertise in controls / automation.
  • Experience in the controls / automation industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Entry-level to 3 years of experience in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Excellent personal interface skills.
  • Thorough understanding of project execution.
  • Good composure under pressure.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including offices and manufacturing facilities.
  • Sufficient mobility and physical stamina.

Skills

  • Technical expertise in power, discrete controls, process systems, instrumentation, drives, DCS, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
  • Leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Efficient use of CAD and project management tools.

Pay

The expected base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 USD per year.

Schedule

Work is primarily in a standard office setting, with occasional visits to shop and manufacturing facilities. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

Physical Demands

Must have sufficient mobility for an office setting, stand or sit for prolonged periods, walk long distances, and maneuver in and around machinery. Extended hours (up to 12+ hours per day) may be required for customer startups.
