In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep rides and facilities running safely and looking great by applying your carpentry and construction skills to real-world challenges. From building and repairing structures to troubleshooting issues and performing inspections, no two days are the same. Responsibilities

• Support the team with reliable, quality workmanship to maintain safe, well-functioning rides and facilities.

Requirements

• Thorough operational understanding of carpentry procedures and methods.
• Working knowledge of building codes.
• Safe use of hand and power tools, including table saw, drill press, band saw, and large power equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• CA valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret rough layouts or sketches.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by park operations.
• Mental and physical capacities to safely perform job duties.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach overhead.
• Ability to safely perform work functions at heights in excess of 100 feet.
