Entry Carpenter $22/Hour

In this hands-on role, you'll help keep rides and facilities running safely and looking great by applying your carpentry and construction skills to real-world challenges. From building and repairing structures to troubleshooting issues and performing inspections, no two days are the same. Responsibilities

You'll make a difference by supporting the team with reliable, quality workmanship—helping maintain safe, well-functioning rides and facilities.

Qualifications

• Thorough operational understanding of carpentry procedures and methods
• Working knowledge of building codes
• Working knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools and large power equipment including table saw, drill press, band saw, etc.
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret rough layouts or sketches
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by the operational needs of the Park
• Mental and physical capacities necessary to safely perform the job duties
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push and pull, lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to reach overhead
• Ability to safely perform work functions at heights in excess of 100 feet
