Bring your craftsmanship to life in a dynamic, fast-paced park environment! In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep rides and facilities running safely and looking great by applying your carpentry and construction skills to real-world challenges. From building and repairing structures to troubleshooting issues and performing inspections, no two days are the same. You'll make a difference by supporting the team with reliable, quality workmanship—helping maintain safe, well-functioning rides and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair structures
• Troubleshoot issues and perform inspections
• Read blueprints and interpret rough layouts or sketches
• Follow oral and written instructions
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform work functions at heights in excess of 100 feet

Requirements

• Thorough operational understanding of carpentry procedures and methods
• Working knowledge of building codes
• Working knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools and large power equipment including table saw, drill press, band saw, etc.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• CA valid driver’s license
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by the operational needs of the Park
• Mental and physical capacities necessary to safely perform the job duties

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push, and pull
• Lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
• Reach overhead
