About the Role
We are seeking an Enterprise Systems Specialist to support the design, development, and maintenance of system connections across business applications, data platforms, and cloud-based tools. This role will help connect key systems, improve data flow, troubleshoot system-related issues, and support ongoing technology initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of system connections and data exchange processes.
- Connect business applications, cloud platforms, databases, and internal systems.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Build and maintain workflows, mappings, connectors, and data movement processes.
- Support API and web service connectivity.
- Aid in data movement between source systems and reporting or analytics platforms.
- Maintain system processes, identify errors, and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Work with application owners and business stakeholders to define data mapping and system requirements.
- Help improve technical standards, documentation, and support processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, projects, and operational support.
- Recommend ways to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency across enterprise systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise systems, application connections, or data movement processes.
- Familiarity with middleware, integration platforms, or similar technical tools.
- Understanding of APIs, web services, and common system connectivity methods.
- Experience with data mapping and data exchange between business systems.
- Knowledge of data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, or similar.
- Basic SQL or database knowledge.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, Workato, SnapLogic, or similar.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, finance, operations, or enterprise business applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, or analytics environments.
- Experience with Agile or project-based technology environments.
- Relevant cloud, data, systems, or technical certifications.
