Duties And Responsibilities

  • Serviced and repaired low voltage panels, wiring, and devices.
  • Provided reliable, high-quality customer support.
  • Instructed customers on system operation and functionality.
  • Performed system testing and signal verification.
  • Maintained necessary truck stock and inventory (equipment and tools).
  • Utilized technical resources, information, materials, and support for efficient task execution.
  • Guaranteed the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Documented service and hours worked.
  • Completed and submitted all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience)

  • High School Diploma or Vocational Training.
  • One (1) or more years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of trouble-shooting enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
  • Working knowledge of local/national codes desirable.
  • Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.

Certification/Licensing

  • Must obtain NICET Level I Certification within one (1) year (for fire alarm systems only).
  • Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
  • Requires 25% to 50% proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Enterprise product offerings.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and travel on short notice.
  • Drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.

Pay And Benefits Disclosure

  • The pay range for this role is $22.91 - $41.71 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications.

  • Employees accrue up to 80 hours in their first year. Their accrual rate increases after the first year.
