Duties And Responsibilities
- Serviced and repaired low voltage panels, wiring, and devices.
- Provided reliable, high-quality customer support.
- Instructed customers on system operation and functionality.
- Performed system testing and signal verification.
- Maintained necessary truck stock and inventory (equipment and tools).
- Utilized technical resources, information, materials, and support for efficient task execution.
- Guaranteed the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
- Documented service and hours worked.
- Completed and submitted all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience)
- High School Diploma or Vocational Training.
- One (1) or more years of experience.
- Working knowledge of trouble-shooting enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
- Working knowledge of local/national codes desirable.
- Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
Certification/Licensing
- Must obtain NICET Level I Certification within one (1) year (for fire alarm systems only).
- Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
- Requires 25% to 50% proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Enterprise product offerings.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
- Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and travel on short notice.
- Drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
Pay And Benefits Disclosure
- The pay range for this role is $22.91 - $41.71 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
