Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage panels, wiring, and devices
- Provide reliable, high-quality customer support
- Instruct customers on system operation and functionality
- Perform system testing and signal verification
- Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools)
- Organize and utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks
- Ensure progress and completion of assigned tasks
- Provide documentation of service and hours worked
- Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner
- Complete other projects as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Vocational Training
- One or more years of experience
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems
- Working knowledge of local/national codes (desired)
- Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly
- Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening
- Strong work ethic and detail-oriented
Certifications & Licensing
- Obtain NICET Level I Certification within one year (for fire alarm systems only)
- Obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses required by national, state, and local codes
- 25% to 50% proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Enterprise product offerings

Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color
- Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, and above ceilings
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs
- Work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on-call availability” and ability to travel on short notice
- Drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
Pay
The pay range for this role is $22.91 - $41.71 an hour, based on experience and qualifications.
