Responsibilities
- Oversees the remote data entry occurrence reporting system for GHMC, GHMC-C, and GH Doctors
- Investigates and follows up with adverse event entries for resolution
- Runs reports, analyzes trends, educates and assists the healthcare team on the RDE and RL occurrence reporting system
- Assists in the claims and litigation electronic management process
- Participates in the onboarding of GH Doctors
- Reviews electronic health records and writes reports when necessary
- Interviews nurses, arranges their preparation for deposition, and interfaces and collaborates with outside defense counsel
- Maintains and updates the electronic regulatory reporting system
- Assists in the insurance oversight and renewal process
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Relevant Master's preferred.
Minimum Experience: Five to ten years of clinical nursing experience in the acute critical care or emergency department setting; current knowledge of and participation in risk management and quality improvement activities; relevant computer skills.
Required Certification/Registration: CPHRM preferred or working toward CPHRM certification.

Pay
The compensation range for the role is $48.46 - $60.58 USD per hour / exempt. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

- Travel to multiple facilities is required
