Potential Responsibilities
- Aid in generating, documenting, and initiating new projects.
- Review technical information for completeness and assess assumptions and supporting details.
- Create materials for programmatic reviews and leadership briefings.
- Interface with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and progress.
- Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Drive project execution.
- Identify issues and assist in driving corrective actions.
- Resolve funding or tasking challenges to support uninterrupted execution.
- Contribute to enterprise improvement initiatives and strategy development.
- Present recommendations with team support for leadership alignment.
- Support and coordinate improvement initiatives, including organizing and facilitating improvement events.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management, Engineering, Planning, Operations, or Test.
- Preferred: Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, familiarity with Electric Boat (EB) business systems and construction processes, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Training, PMP Certification, experience with Operations or Lead Yard Task management, experience working with cross-functional teams, eight (8) years of experience in Project/Program Management, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Test, or equivalent experience.
