Job Responsibilities

  • Define and execute an enterprise ERP strategy, with emphasis on SAP solutions that support business objectives.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital innovation.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure ERP performance, business value, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, execution, and governance for SAP projects, including upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assess and improve SAP capabilities, including SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, and PP, to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Ensure SAP solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing ERP team, including SAP specialists, developers, analysts, and support resources.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison among IT, business functions, and external partners for SAP-related initiatives.
  • Provide executive leadership with clear updates on ERP performance, project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to SAP implementations, integrations, and ongoing operations.
  • Maintain data integrity, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Implement testing, quality assurance, and change management practices to protect the integrity of the SAP landscape.
  • Maintain reliable 24x7 operational availability of SAP systems and related business-critical services.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of ERP management experience, including at least 7 years focused on SAP.
  • Proven success leading large-scale SAP implementations, including ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA migrations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or similar operational environments preferred.
  • Strong expertise across SAP modules, including FICO, MM, SD, PP, and WMS.
  • Deep understanding of SAP integrations with third-party platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Working knowledge of SAP analytics tools and emerging technologies, including AI, IoT, and machine learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic, results-oriented leader with strong business acumen and execution discipline.
  • SAP Certified Application Professional certification preferred.
  • PMP or ITIL certification preferred.
