About AIUC

Our mission is to underwrite superintelligence. We red-team, certify, and insure agents, such as ElevenLabs, UiPath, and Intercom. As agents increasingly take on critical roles in hospitals, banks, and governments, we aim to ensure their security, safety, and reliability. History shows that standards and insurance are crucial for managing risk and shaping incentives. We've established the gold standard for agent security and reliability with AIUC-1, which has been adopted by 100+ CISOs from the Fortune 1000. Our team includes experts from organizations like Anthropic, McKinsey, METR, Weights & Biases, Perplexity, and the Thiel Fellowship. We've secured $55 million in funding from investors including Ribbit, First Harmonic, and Nat Friedman. Read more here, here, and here.

The Role

Enterprises are under immense pressure to adopt AI, but they all face a significant security challenge—CISOs are concerned about "how do I know an AI agent is secure, safe, and reliable?" We encounter this issue frequently in our work. There are currently 250+ security and risk leaders in the AIUC-1 consortium eager to shape the standard that they and others can use to address this concern. Many enterprises are seeking AIUC-1 certification for both their internally developed AI agents and those provided by vendors deployed in their environments.

We are hiring a Founding Enterprise Lead to help us build and deepen these enterprise partnerships and drive adoption of AIUC-1. This is a unique opportunity where you will lead discovery with enterprises, understanding how each enterprise assesses AI vendor risk. You will work closely with our founders to shape and run experiments for the GTM approach and AIUC-1 that meets the needs of enterprise CISOs. You will also own and grow our portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, from initial contact through to signed partnership. Additionally, you will explore deepening in specific verticals, such as financial services, building on the core AIUC-1 to meet the regulatory and business needs of these enterprises.

What We're Looking For

You will work with CISOs, General Counsels, and Chief AI Officers at Fortune 500 companies, who are senior leaders under immense pressure to get AI adoption right. You must be able to engage in peer-level conversations to shape how they perceive this problem. You will spend as much time thinking as you do in front of executives—building hypotheses, structuring the product, and tailoring the messaging. The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of experience, likely from a top consulting firm where they led complex, novel engagements. They should have executive presence and the ability to communicate a compelling narrative to senior stakeholders. Plus, 1-2 years of experience in a commercial, BD, or strategic accounts role, or experience as a founder.

Compensation & Perks

  • Annual salary ranging from $300K to $400K
  • Significant equity component of total compensation
  • Generous health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents
  • Visa sponsorship and relocation stipend to bring you to San Francisco, if possible
  • A team dedicated to doing our best work
