Enterprise Agile Coach

Job Summary
This role serves as the primary coach, facilitator, and steward of the FELT operating model. Working as a member of a cross-functional leadership team that includes Product, Architecture, Organizational Change Management (OCM), Operations Technology, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Operations, and other key stakeholders, the FELT Agility Enablement Lead drives alignment, coordination, and continuous improvement across the Fleet ecosystem.
The role enables effective leadership collaboration, establishes and manages organizational cadence and flow, facilitates strategic planning and prioritization activities, and helps ensure work is coordinated across portfolios. The Agility Enablement Lead is responsible for strengthening organizational effectiveness and evolving the operating model to support delivery of Fleet strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operating Model Leadership
- Serve as the facilitator and steward of the Fleet operating model.
- Drive adoption, consistency, and continuous evolution of Fleet ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to improve coordination, decision-making, planning, and execution across portfolios.
- Ensure operating model practices remain aligned to Fleet strategic objectives and organizational needs.
Leadership Team Facilitation
- Facilitate collaboration within the Fleet Ecosystem Leadership Team.
- Create alignment among Product, Architecture, OCM, Operations Technology, SRE, Operations, and other leadership functions serving on the FELT.
- Enable productive discussion, decision-making, and resolution of cross-functional challenges.
- Foster shared accountability for execution of Fleet strategic priorities.
Strategy-to-Execution Alignment
- Support translation of Fleet strategy, vision, priorities, and outcomes into coordinated portfolio execution.
- Facilitate prioritization and alignment discussions that ensure strategic work is appropriately distributed across portfolios.
- Maintain visibility into portfolio interdependencies and strategic outcomes.
- Help leadership identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for greater alignment.
Portfolio Coordination and Flow
- Establish and manage leadership cadences that support planning, execution, alignment, and inspection of progress.
- Facilitate cross-portfolio synchronization and dependency management activities.
- Monitor organizational flow and identify systemic bottlenecks that impact execution.
- Promote transparency into priorities, capacity constraints, risks, and strategic commitments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the Fleet ecosystem.
- Facilitate retrospectives, health assessments, operating model reviews, and improvement workshops.
- Coach leaders and teams on collaborative planning, alignment, flow, and effective execution practices.
- Use organizational performance insights to drive measurable improvements in effectiveness and delivery.
Governance and Organizational Health
- Facilitate governance forums and leadership reviews.
- Establish and maintain measures that assess organizational health, operating model effectiveness, and execution performance.
- Provide leadership visibility into systemic risks, impediments, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive accountability for improvement actions and operating model evolution.
Required Skills & Experience
- Active SAFe 6 Practice Consultant (SPC) Certification & Training Enablements.
- 8 or more years’ experience coaching complex enterprises through modernization.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Experience transitioning waterfall Project Management Lifecycle to Agile Product Delivery in complex, highly regulated environment.
- Experience with JiraAlign, Jira Software, Confluence, AgilityInsights.
- Proven ability to think strategically, and to communicate strategy to large organization.
- Substantial experience with Waterfall, Scrum, Agile, Kanban, SAFe, XP, DevSecOps.
- Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Active engagement in external value management, agile and product communities with a network of professional contacts outside of the organization.
