Enterprise Agile Coach
About the role
The Enterprise Agile Coach role within Georgia-Pacific’s Delivery Excellence organization is aimed at enhancing delivery performance and improving outcomes across various products, projects, and technology initiatives. This role involves combining people leadership and responsibility to improve delivery quality, predictability, and value realization across the enterprise. The position supervises a small team and serves as a hands-on coach influencing delivery practices, governance, and tooling.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop a team, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development
- Establish performance expectations and ensure alignment to enterprise delivery standards and business value outcomes
- Provide visibility into delivery health, risks, and improvement opportunities across engagements and portfolios
- Establish and evolve delivery metrics (e.g., predictability, cycle time, quality, value delivery) to drive accountability and continuous improvement
- Identify systemic delivery risks, constraints, and inefficiencies and partner with leaders to resolve them
- Ensure fit-for-purpose delivery approaches and best practices are applied consistently across varied work types and delivery models
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery by assessing performance, identifying gaps, and partnering with leaders and teams to enhance execution quality, decision-making, and outcomes
- Influence operating model decisions to improve speed, quality, and alignment to business value
- Provide input on tools, governance, and frameworks that enable scalable delivery execution, including AI capabilities
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading IT delivery transformation or delivery performance improvement across a complex organization
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and executives to evolve delivery systems and organizational ways of working
- Demonstrated experience using delivery metrics, health indicators, or performance insights to identify risks and drive improvement
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team
Qualifications
- Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
Skills
- Demonstrated experience transforming ways of working, e.g., projects to product or AI-enabled delivery practices
- Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Portfolio Management
- Experience operating effectively across varied delivery models, including iterative and traditional approaches
