About the Role
The Account Manager is an essential member of the Go-to-Market Sales team. This role is dedicated to supporting existing customers, ensuring that the time, effort, and investment made in customer acquisition are realized through long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth. The primary mission is to enhance customer experience and satisfaction, fostering loyalty and profitability while advancing Amplix’s mission to deliver lasting value to its customers. This position requires exceptional sales acumen, relationship management, organizational, entrepreneurial, and communication skills. In addition to customer interactions, the Account Manager collaborates cross-functionally with all Amplix departments to drive innovation and improve the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Meet all Customer KPIs as defined in the Commission and Goal Plan.
- Engage regularly with assigned customers to:
- Strengthen and expand relationships within each account.
- Manage AT&T clients, including selling and managing AT&T wireline enterprise products.
- Identify, address, and resolve customer satisfaction or expectation concerns.
- Track, manage, and renew client contracts.
- Align with customer initiatives and long-term objectives.
- Educate clients on relevant industry trends and Amplix products and services.
- Conduct daily customer interactions through personalized emails, calls, video meetings, in-person visits, 90-day reviews, training sessions, CCSM reviews, and QBR/EBRs with all activity accurately logged in the CRM.
- Sales:
- Achieve monthly and annual sales goals as defined in the Commission and Goals document across upsells, cross-sales, one-time sales, and renewals.
- Continuously expand knowledge of Amplix’s solutions, value proposition, and differentiators.
- Coordinate, prepare, and deliver sales proposals and scopes of work for customer opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers supporting products and services sold to existing customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (minimum five years).
- Proven track record of success in strategic account management or enterprise customer success roles.
- Experience supporting clients with at least 1,000 employees and complex multi-site environments.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing AT&T clients.
- Proven ability to sell and manage AT&T wireline enterprise products.
Skills
- Proficient in business software tools and platforms including CRM systems, email communication, document creation, presentations, and data entry.
- Capable of maintaining, backing up, and managing essential digital records.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and interpret varied instructions in written, verbal, or visual form.
Travel
This position requires up to 25% travel.
Pay
The target salary for this role is $90,000–110,000 USD. The target hiring range may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience.
