Enterprise Account Executive - NY Metro

About the role

NexusTek is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with senior executives to shape IT strategies for some of the nation’s most dynamic organizations. Key responsibilities include driving high-value opportunities across cloud, cybersecurity, and AI services, particularly in the Managed Intelligence practice.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with senior executives to define and implement IT strategies for major clients.
• Drive net-new enterprise sales and expand relationships within strategic accounts.
• Conduct executive-level discovery sessions to uncover business priorities and translate them into multi-service NexusTek engagements.
• Build compelling financial business cases that clearly articulate ROI, competitive advantage, and time-to-value.
• Lead the sales cycle for multi-million-dollar deals spanning hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, and AI/ML platforms, including Managed Intelligence (AI agent services).
• Translate emerging capabilities, especially agentic AI and applied AI/ML, into concrete, client-specific use cases that resonate with C-suite buyers.
• Manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and execute against a defined territory and account plan.
• Collaborate with solution architects, delivery teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption, but own the technical vision in client-facing conversations.
• Expand NexusTek’s reach by building strategic channel, alliance, and referral partnerships.

Requirements

Qualifications include 7+ years of IT sales experience, a proven track record of exceeding quota in enterprise or mid-market accounts, and a deep understanding of cloud platforms, cybersecurity, hybrid infrastructure, and AI/ML platforms. Familiarity with generative AI, applied AI/ML platforms, and the emerging AI agent ecosystem is also beneficial.

• Ability to independently scope and design high-level solution frameworks.
• Proven ability to creatively combine services into solutions.
• Strong working knowledge across cloud platforms, cybersecurity, hybrid infrastructure, and AI/ML platforms.
• Familiarity with AI governance, acceptable use policies, and AI Centers of Excellence.

This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely with some travel.
