Duties And Responsibilities
- Represent Cornerstone University in a Christ-like, professional manner to prospective students interested in pursuing a degree while consistently exhibiting enthusiasm toward the institution
- Balance a high volume of outbound recruitment communication, managing prospective students at various stages in the enrollment process
- Meet individual and team enrollment activity goals
- Conduct ethical sales techniques to raise awareness for potential online students
- Provide accurate and comprehensive degree program options, to help prospective online students make informed decisions
- Provide prospective students with a high level of customer service through effective communication and follow-up techniques
- Seek to earn referrals that reflect the valuable service provided
- Conduct individual and group presentations to disseminate approved program information
- Utilize great customer service, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to uncover and resolve concerns
- During the enrollment process, assist prospective students by connecting them with appropriate services and resources
- Act as a personal coach to help incoming students select a major, complete the enrollment process, and make a smooth transition into CU’s digital learning platform
- Monitor, track, and manage student communication using the university CRM
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS And ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree required
- Professional sales, customer service, or enrollment recruitment experience with documented history of meeting goals
- Computer literate and ability to learn university student management database
- Passionate belief in the power of higher education along with the desire to help adults achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a volume of activities efficiently
- Willingness to consistently go ‘above and beyond’ in order to serve students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive professional attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work an alternative schedule, 2-3 days per week (no weekends)
