Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Enrollment Coordinator to support member enrollment activities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is responsible for processing enrollment requests accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process enrollment requests accurately and within established turnaround times while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Review, analyze, enter, and maintain member enrollment data within the Facets system and other databases.
- Audit enrollment files to ensure documentation is complete, organized, secure, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional support to internal and external customers regarding enrollment processes, eligibility requirements, COBRA regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Research and investigate enrollment-related issues, customer inquiries, and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform account and case reconciliation activities as needed.
- Monitor enrollment inventory and customer inquiries to ensure service-level expectations are met.
- Maintain accurate membership records across various systems and databases.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate enrollment processing and problem resolution.
- Communicate enrollment status updates through system documentation, phone calls, written correspondence, and approved form letters.
- Escalate critical customer concerns to leadership when appropriate.
- Stay current on state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and healthcare enrollment requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- An Associate's Degree.
- Previous enrollment or member services experience.
- Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
- Experience using Facets or similar healthcare enrollment systems.
Preferred Skills
- Enrollment processing and membership maintenance.
- Healthcare eligibility and enrollment knowledge.
- Knowledge of COBRA and HIPAA regulations.
