About the role
This position will work within our after school programs creating, implementing and leading the children in the YMCA after school through enrichment programs.
Responsibilities
- Create and lead enrichment programs in arts, cooking, STEAM, and robotics.
- Teach basic skills while upholding the values and mission of the YMCA.
- Work up to 10 hours per week in the Enrichment capacity, and an additional 10 hours per week helping within the YMCA after school and camp programs as needed.
- Build relationships with children, parents, and community members.
- Help fill the ever-changing needs of our youth development department.
Requirements
- Over 18 and possess a high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn new things.
- Previous experience working with kids.
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Able to provide own transportation and willing to travel to different school locations within Leander ISD.
