Enrichment Instructor

About the role

This position will work within our after school programs creating, implementing and leading the children in the YMCA after school through enrichment programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead enrichment programs in arts, cooking, STEAM, and robotics.
• Teach basic skills while upholding the values and mission of the YMCA.
• Work up to 10 hours per week in the Enrichment capacity, and an additional 10 hours per week helping within the YMCA after school and camp programs as needed.
• Build relationships with children, parents, and community members.
• Help fill the ever-changing needs of our youth development department.

Requirements

• Over 18 and possess a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn new things.
• Previous experience working with kids.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Able to provide own transportation and willing to travel to different school locations within Leander ISD.
