About the Role
The Enhanced Referral / Family Recruitment Specialist is part of a team responsible for ensuring families and children receive the resources needed for healthy child development. This role connects organizations for intake referral and participants in the CommonSpirit St. Joseph's Children (SJC) home visiting program with necessary services.
Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with home visiting staff to ensure the needs of families and children in the program are appropriately met.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with home visitors.
- Provide shadowing and training opportunities for newly hired staff.
- Make referrals to programs and services, offering appropriate support to ensure successful referrals.
- Follow up as needed to confirm referrals were successful.
- Meet the needs of parents, families, and children while respecting their strengths and preferences.
- Document all enhanced referral tasks based on established protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Public Health, or a similar discipline or 8 years of direct relevant experience.
- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License (required upon hire).
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification (required within 60 days of hire).
Pay
$20.86 - $29.46 per hour.
