What We're Looking For

We’re looking for people who know their subject well, enjoy explaining things, and genuinely like working with students. Tutoring Specialists have a lot of control over their own availability, and we match students with tutors based on subject expertise, personality, and scheduling. Hours vary depending on student demand and are not guaranteed. We’re looking for tutors who can work with us throughout the academic year. We do not hire for summer-only positions. This position is especially well suited to current UAA students and recent graduates, though we welcome applications from qualified candidates from other backgrounds as well.
