Responsibilities
- Applies technical expertise in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems in area of expertise.
- Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities.
- Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches with some guidance.
- Counsults and provides oversight and direction of work in a specific area of expertise.
- Conducts engineering and related studies.
- Strives to continually improve job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance.
- Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.
- Maintains accurate records and files.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Either Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology with no experience, or 2+ years of experience with Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 4+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
- Some business units may require visits to field sites and/or plants.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Engineering Technology and 2 years of experience.
- Highschool Diploma and 4 years of experience.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills preferred.
- Experience in the utility industry preferred.
- Understanding of basic principles of project management preferred.

The pay range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000 annually.
