Responsibilities
- Drive troubleshooting and problem-solving activities when equipment breakdowns occur.
- Collect and analyze data, inspect products and processes, conduct tests, assist with research and development, and record results.
- Create, update, and maintain Work Instructions, Work Standards, PFMEAs, Control Plans, PFDs (Troubleshooting Guide), Quality Alerts, Change Orders, OPL (One Point Lessons), and Visual Standards.
- Lead line change-overs, verify proper function and quality is met, and confirm line parameters match standards.
- Initiate and foster cooperation/communication within and between departments and shifts.
- Achieve KPI’s: OEE, Yield, and Project targets.
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards.
- Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g., line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED, with a Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
- Experience: Tech II or III or commensurate experience, 3 to 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Prior experience using hand tools in a manufacturing environment.
- HMI and Vision Systems experience.
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
