Engineering Technician / Designer

Duties

• Generate highway, bridge and site plans along with the associated details.
• Aid technical staff in specialized designs.
• Provide MicroStation and InRoads support and analysis.

Requirements

• A.S. degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school in CAD or Drafting.
• 1-5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of MicroStation and InRoads is preferred.
• Knowledge in NYSDOT CAD standards and the basics of transportation design a plus.

Pay

Estimated Pay Range: $28 – 32/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
