Engineering Technician

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering tasks related to refining operations. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the design and implementation of new processes and equipment.
• Conducting quality control tests on raw materials and finished products.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting existing machinery and systems.
• Documenting procedures and findings in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development and execution of engineering projects.
• Performing routine maintenance checks on plant equipment.
• Assisting in the analysis of process data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

Qualifications required for this position include:

• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

Desired skills include:

• Experience with process control systems.
• Knowledge of chemical engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
