Engineering Technician

Solid Modeling

Affix designs using an approved solid modeling program and produce properly dimensioned drawings adhering to GD&T standards (ANSI/ASME Y14.5M-1994).

Hardware Assembly

Show proficiency in fabricating hardware and prototypes according to provided instructions or engineering drawings.

Laboratory Testing

• Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to verify performance against customer specifications.
• Create and follow developed plans and experimental test programs and test procedures.
• Analyze test data to assess whether the design meets functional and performance specifications.
• Accurately record measured test results in a laboratory notebook or electronic database.
• Propose modifications to test methods based on understanding of test results.

Miscellaneous Tasks

• Support other technicians with various tasks to enhance engineering organizational operations.
• Follow instructions from engineering management, including the Laboratory supervisor.
