Engineering Technician

Responsibilities
- Build custom automation machines from scratch, not maintenance work
- Assemble and integrate mechanical systems, subassemblies, and full machine builds using drawings and schematics
- Install and connect mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components
- Perform precision alignment, tuning, and system integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during build, test, and startup
- Partner with engineering to ensure machines meet performance and design specs
- Support equipment testing, validation, and commissioning (including occasional onsite installs)
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized build environment
Requirements
- 3+ years proven experience building full machines, not just maintaining or repairing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layouts
- Hands-on experience with assembly, integration, and system troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve complex build challenges

Pay
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
