Job Summary We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to support our Engineering and Quality teams by helping drive performance, quality, and continuous improvement within our CNC EDM drilling and machining operations. In this hands-on role, you'll support new product implementation, develop tooling and machining programs, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, collect and analyze process data, and help optimize manufacturing processes that support the aerospace industry. Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p What You’ll Be Doing Support CNC EDM drilling and machining operations through machine setup, calibration, and process improvementsDevelop, modify, and optimize CNC machining and EDM programsDesign, develop, and qualify tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processesConduct research and development trials, data collection, and process analysisPerform first article and first piece inspectionsTroubleshoot production issues and assist with root cause investigations and corrective actionsCollect and analyze manufacturing data to improve process performance and qualityTrain operators on equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processesCreate and maintain work instructions, technique sheets, specifications, and process documentationSupport Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 5S initiativesMaintain compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and company standards What We’re Looking For Associate degree or technical school diploma (minimum two-year program) in a technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal educationExperience supporting CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, tooling, or production processesProficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NXProficiency with CAM programming software; Siemens NX preferred, Mastercam acceptedStrong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Knowledge of CNC machining processes, equipment, and manufacturing methodsStrong computer, organization, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Nice to Have Aerospace or precision manufacturing experienceExperience with EDM drilling or CNC machining operationsExperience using PC-DMIS, Geomagic, or similar metrology softwareExperience creating manufacturing documentation and work instructionsPrior experience supporting continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing initiatives Work Environment & Physical Requirements Split work environment between office and manufacturing shop floor settingsRegular operation of CNC machining, EDM, and measurement equipmentFrequent standing, walking, and movement throughout production areasAbility to safely work around manufacturing equipment and industrial machineryMust comply with all safety, quality, and environmental requirementsMust pass applicable vision testing requirements, if required for the position This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
