Additional Rate
$4.54 per hour for Health and Welfare.

Contract Duration
This is a long standing contract that STi has recently been awarded. The contract with STi has a duration of 5 years, at which time the contract will be re-competed. STi and other vendors will bid at that time, and if in the event STi does not win the resulting contract, personnel on site have first right of refusal on a job offer from the incoming contractor. It is a long term position in that regard as personnel will just change their badging to the new company that takes over, but all positions will remain.

General Description
STi plans, organizes, directs and controls NUWCDIVKPT’s Test, Training and Evaluation (TT&E) of Undersea Warfare (USW) Systems and Operational Readiness Assessment support for Acquisition and Fleet customers. STi conducts system evaluation activities throughout all phases of the acquisition life cycle including technology development, system design, development, production, and in-service readiness assessment. In performance of Test and Evaluation, STi plans and executes test programs; provides test environments that closely approximate war-fighting environments; provides methods for measuring system performance in those environments; and conducts performance analysis and evaluation of the systems under test. STi provides T&E planning, test execution and analytical support. STi supports Analysis and Assessment, Fleet Material Readiness, Signatures and Susceptibility and other Product Areas.

- Quality Assurance Support
Quality Assurance Support
- Updates logs and performs reviews of current quality inspection indicator devices, monthly and as needed.
- Reviews submitted project plans to the quality assurance office for completeness and assign project plan number, as needed.
- Supports Repair Review Board (RRB) document management by assigning number and log completed RRB's, as needed.
- Reviews and update CAPA's by coordinating with points of contact, weekly.
- Updates quad sheet and CAPA report to support department quality metrics, weekly.
- Performs quality walk throughs in coordination with audit schedule and/or CAPA's.
- Supports System (Book to Floor/Floor to Book Audits) audits and reviews of Ordnance Information System (OIS) and of any explosives (including material not in OIS).
- Cranes lift observations, review crane certifications and proper handling procedures, as needed.
Training Coordination and Records Support
- Coordinates training for program and specific topics, quarterly.
- Manages, records and audits Technical Project Manager (TPM) qualifications.
- Manages, records and audits Shipboard Work qualifications.
- Reviews and audits Explosive Safety qualifications including board chair and board member records.
- Provides Quality Management System Program Management training to each division and assesses the Test and Evaluation Department training needs for new and existing employees.
