Responsibilities

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
  • Captures and coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working outside for testing both at an on-site tether and testing at off-site flight tests.
  • Vendor selection and procurement of test related hardware experience.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design software (Windchill, Creo, Solidworks) in order to support quick turn tooling for integration activities.
  • Experience in procedure development and redlines (lead the review and approval process).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with travel for test events or for customer meetings.
  • Active Secret Clearance Required.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM-related field.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting experience: 2-4 years.
  • Testing Lab experience: 2-4 years.
  • Electrical Testing experience: 2-4 years.
  • Knowledge in CAD/CAE tools: 1-2 years.
  • Writing Report and Procedures: 2-4 years.
