Integration and Test Engineer

This is a full-time, onsite, temporary position located at Lockheed Martin’s Virginia Beach site (1293 Perimeter Pkwy, Virginia Beach, VA 23454) for approximately 12–18 months. Start date is August 17 or may be delayed by one week due to the LM Talent system transition.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test plans.
• Install and configure software components.
• Coordinate with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
• Document, track, and report defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment.
• Experience with Windows and Linux cross-platform test execution.
• Testing micro-service architectures.
• Database validation using PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL.
• Frontend testing of a Web UI.

Skills

• CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred).
• Experience with US Navy training systems and processes (preferred).
• Knowledge of Navy and DOD modeling and simulation tools such as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), JLVC Analysis Workstation (JAWS), and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS) (preferred).
• VMWare virtualized environment experience (preferred).
• Experience with Agile workflows using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence (preferred).
