Integration and Test Engineer
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services in engineering design and documentation, software development and testing, system integration, testing and evaluation, lab management, field installation, integrated logistics support, training development and delivery, multimedia support, and technical system support.
About the role
Performs test and integration tasks and activities as assigned in one or more of the following areas: test planning and development, system testing, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses, configuration management, data management, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Performs system-level testing, evaluation, and related tasks and activities.
- Documents system test results, failure reports, and documentation deficiencies.
- Isolates root cause of problems with system integration and testing.
- Performs maintenance of system test documents (updates and corrects procedures).
- Follows directions of system integration and testing engineering leads.
- Executes procedures – installation, recovery, checkout, test, etc.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional military experience and a high school diploma (or equivalency), or a college degree, or a combination of education and experience.
- Must have or be able to obtain and keep a DoD SECRET security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Proficient with Linux.
- Willingness to work overtime and off-shift to support business needs.
Skills
- Ability to perform as a self-starter and work with minimal supervision and oversight when required.
- Ability to use technical information, tables, and drawings.
- Ability to perform system configuration or troubleshooting procedures.
- Familiarity with Navy/Submarine operations is desirable.
