Engineering Supervisor Required!

Our client is a leading UK-based manufacturer.

Actively participate in workshop activities including assembly, rework and testing of equipment
Supervise and support workshop engineers on a day-to-day basis, providing hands-on guidance and technical support
Support the Production Manager with workload prioritisation, coordination, and planning of upcoming projects
Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and to required quality standards
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and requirements
Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures across all workshop activities
Carry out and oversee quality inspections and checks
Carry out effective coordination with engineering, service, and production teams to meet deadlines
Attend production meetings, providing clear updates on project status, progress, and potential delays
Contribute to continuous improvement through product and process feedback

Time-served engineer or qualified to HNC/HND
Previous supervisory or foreman experience in a workshop or production environment
Strong experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly and build environments, including pipework assembly, brazing, and soldering, working on small to large scale equipment with BoMs ranging from 70 to 300+ components
The successful candidate will be required to supply their own standard hand tools for routine daily work. Specialist tools and equipment (e.g. grinders, pipe benders, etc.) will be supplied by the company for shared use
Able to lead and support a small technical team effectively
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Strong commitment to health & safety and safe working practice
