Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate engineering personnel.
- Carry out performance reviews and development plans.
- Assign engineering workloads and priorities.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Oversee Bill of Materials (BOMs), routing, work instructions, process sheets, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
- Review customer drawings and specifications for manufacturability.
- Support production troubleshooting.
- Lead new product introduction and first article builds.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operations, Production, Quality, Program Management, Purchasing, Sales, and Estimating.
- Support AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, customer, and ITAR compliance.
- Track engineering projects and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain engineering documentation within Epicor.
