Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Make sure engineers complete all guest-related service requests within 30 minutes and assist where needed
• Complete all non-guest-related work order requests as scheduled in a professional and timely manner, taking care to clean up completely after work is done and/or request housekeeping support
• Complete daily walks of the Mechanical, Electrical rooms, and the property
• To assist with all duties in the Engineering Department including all aspects of mechanical repairs, electrical work and painting
• Assist the Engineering Manager/Assistant Director of Engineering in day-to-day duties

Requirements

• Minimum 10 yearsâ experience as a commercial building engineer / 5 yearsâ experience in hotel engineering operations or building maintenance in a supervisor role
• Multi skills technician with strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and low voltage
• Knowledge of how to respond to emergency situations, floods, fire, mechanical failures, etc.
• Knowledge of fire alarm panels and systems
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities require
• Must be a highly organized person with strong planning skills
• Must be adaptable and handle last minute changes positively

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend and stoop
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pound
